    Danusha Purcell - National Transport Manager, API
    Danusha is National Transport Manager at Australian Pharmaceutical Industries (API), where she oversees national logistics operations with a focus on driving efficiency, cost optimization, and service excellence. With over a decade of experience across transport and supply chain management, her expertise spans fleet management, carrier performance analysis, last mile delivery innovation, and enterprise account leadership across multiple logistics platforms.       I’ve worked in transport for over 25 years, starting out in rail and intermodal logistics with Toll before moving into what later became KiwiRail in New Zealand. From there, I spent eight years in freight forwarding (in Australia), building experience across complex supply chains and international movements.
      Six years ago, I founded Freight Tranz. We specialise in domestic and international freight across air, sea, road, and rail. What began with me working from a home office has grown into a warehouse operation, a small fleet of trucks, and a fantastic team of people.

         

      Christy Davidson - Director, Logistics Operations, Asia Pacific, Metso
      Christy Davidson is the Director of Logistics Operations APA at Metso and sits on the Senior Executive Board for the Asia Pacific region. With over twenty years of experience in supply chain and logistics, Christy has led large‑scale operational transformations across APA, including warehouse migrations, delivery‑performance improvement programs, and system cutovers. Christy is known for building strong partnerships, driving operational excellence, and leading teams through complex change with clarity and confidence.
      Alongside her operational expertise, Christy is an active mentor in Metso’s global programs, supporting colleagues in developing confidence, resilience, and growth‑mindset leadership.       Laura Byrnes is the Human Resources Manager for MSC Australia, leading HR Advisory, Administration, Employment Relations, and Health and Safety while supporting strategic HR and HSE initiatives locally and globally.  
      With a background in operations and qualifications in Law, Psychology, and HR/ER, she has over ten years’ HR experience across transport, mining, construction, justice, education, tourism, and corporate sectors.

      Jennifer has been at the helm of OzHarvest WA since its inception in late 2014. OzHarvest is a not-for-profit organisation that rescues surplus food that would otherwise go to waste from commercial food outlets and delivers that good food, at no cost, to charitable agencies who feed those in need. As a lover of food and hater of waste, Jennifer is constantly looking for new ways to inspire and educate people about food waste, food security and sustainability through OzHarvest’s food rescue, education programs and advocacy work.

      Irene is a Senior Product Manager at Amazon, leading Amazon SEND— a core logistics program delivering faster, more cost-effective fulfillment for sellers. She drives product launches and program execution at the intersection of logistics, technology, and customer obsession.
      Previously, she was a Senior Supply Chain Consultant at KPMG, leading engagements across supply chain strategy, S&OP/IBP, ERP implementations, and digital transformation for major organisations. Earlier in her career, she managed import operations at a freight forwarding company, working in Mandarin to support sellers’ logistics needs.
      With experience across China, Spain, and Australia, she has held hands-on and leadership roles in logistics, freight forwarding, and warehouse project management. She is also the NSW President of the Australasian Supply Chain & Logistics Association. Fluent in Spanish, English, French, and Mandarin, she brings a global mindset and a passion for turning complexity into clarity.

      Kari Banick is the COO at Blackwoods within Wesfarmers Industrial Safety overseeing operations and supply chain, own brand global sourcing, ESG, Data Quality Governance, ePMO and Indigenous Affairs. She emigrated from the US to Australia over thirteen years ago, bringing over 30 years of experience across multiple industries including Retail, Wholesale, Airline, FMCG, 3PL, and Transport. Previously, she spent 22 years at Supervalu in the US, where she led the first automated site in Minneapolis and has held senior roles in distribution, finance and retail operations. Kari is recognized as a global expert in supply chain operations, technology, and automation, having delivered pioneering automated wholesale grocery operations in Australia and multiple automated sites for Linfox customers.       John KellyCEO, Logic Health

      John Kelly is a senior executive with more than 20 years’ experience across logistics, healthcare and government environments. He has held senior leadership roles with organisations including TNT, Australia Post and Aspen Medical, where he played a key role in driving accelerated growth, strengthening commercial performance and leading complex, nationally significant programs while building high-performing teams. 
      As CEO of Logic Health, John leads a business that supports the transport and logistics sector through critical services including pre-employment medicals and ongoing health surveillance.       Nicole Dixon is a visionary executive with over 20 years of experience in technology product management, driving growth and innovation.
