Lisa launched her first business, a namesake fashion label at 20 in New York City, becoming the only Australian in Forbes 30 Under 30 USA (Class of 2020). After features in VogueBusiness InsiderVanity Fair, and more, she shifted her focus to scaling businesses—advising venture-backed startups, growing sector groups at BDO Australia, and co-founding an investment company in Indonesia. She is also a founding member of Forbes Women Australia and now serves as Head of Growth & Strategy at Learning Sphere, helping businesses unlock their workforce’s potential. From fashion to finance, Lisa thrives at the intersection of creativity and business, proving that if you can dream it, you can do it.

Maureen Jordan - Switzer Group
Maureen Jordan, a qualified solicitor with degrees in Economics and Law (Honours), built a career balancing business and family. As CEO of Switzer Group, she oversees media, financial services, and business coaching, holding licenses for Harper’s BAZAAR, Esquire, Men’s Health, and Women’s Health. With 25+ years in publishing, she has served as Editor-in-Chief and authored books including Women Entrepreneurs and Small Business Start-Up Guide. Maureen has led major publishing projects for top brands and was inducted into the Australian Businesswomen’s Hall of Fame.

Nick McArdle - Ambassador for Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter (HKWS)
Nick McArdle’s career spans more than 3 decades in Australian media. He started in radio with the Austereo network before 11 years with the Seven Network, based in Sydney, and 13 years with Fox sports. He now calls the Nine Network home. Nick’s passion is sport and he’s travelled the world covering the biggest sporting events – Olympics, Paralympics, Rugby World Cups, Cricket World Cups, Ashes series and Grand Slam tennis tournaments. Yes, he is living the dream.
He also hosts his own podcast series called the Playmaker’s Playbook which looks at leadership in sport and business of sport. Nick lives in Sydney with his wife Mandi and adult children Georgie and Henry.
His role as ambassador for HKWS is a passion that grew out of the need to have men start talking about the scourge of domestic violence. He wants young men to understand they have a role in creating lasting change.

About Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter (HKWS)

HKWS provides safe shelter and professional support for women and children escaping domestic abuse and homelessness. Led by volunteers and experienced caseworkers, HKWS empowers women with essential life skills for a self-reliant future.

HKWS Services:

Crisis Accommodation – Safe housing for up to three months.
Long-Term Accommodation – Housing for women over 55 for up to two years.
Outreach Support – Assistance for women and families in the community.
