Lauren is a mum of two energetic boys who keep her busy on the sidelines of multiple sports. She is also a passionate advocate for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, inspired by her youngest son, who was born deaf and is now thriving with bilateral cochlear implants. Lauren founded Bronte Co in 2018 after identifying a gap in the market for affordable, high-quality swimwear for boys. The brand experienced rapid growth in 2019 & 2020 with the rise of family “twinning,” expanding to include matching men’s board shorts. Since then, Bronte Co has continued to evolve, now offering swimwear for men, women, and children, alongside complementary lifestyle products such as neoprene bags, fishing shirts, goggles, and accessories. While Bronte Co’s core market is Australia and New Zealand, the brand has developed a strong international customer base, with orders spanning the United States, Europe, and Asia.
