HOW TECHNOLOGY (AND AI IN PARTICULAR) IS TRANSFORMING S&OP PROCESSES

Part 1: How AI is enabling NOT displacing S&OP professionals

There’s a fear across almost all knowledge-based industries that AI will disrupt and displace great swathes of the workforce and it’s a threat however, in our experience that’s just not the case. Rather than being a threat AI is turning out to be a great enabler in the world of Supply Chain – giving professionals the information and insights they need to operate in today’s complex retail environments.

In this webinar we’ll look briefly at the history of S&OP and explore how the industry has changed over recent years and where it’s landed. We’ll then explore why so many organisations are struggling to run effective S&OP processes today and then we’ll look at the role that technology can and indeed should be playing in supporting S&OP professionals. We’ll look at the role of AI and explain why it’s the ultimate enabler for S&OP, rather than the great disrupter.

        Date:  Thursday, 16 May 2024
        Time:  11.30am - 12.30pm
        Cost:  No Charge
RSVP:  By COB on Wednesday, 15 May 2024

        ABOUT THIS EVENT

In this webinar we’ll explain why S&OP has landed where it has and explain why organisations don’t need to redesign their business processes to take advantage of AI. We’ll talk about the role of AI-powered bottom-up SKU location forecasting and the transformative effect it can have on organisations that let the data underpin their current S&OP processes.
