Be among the first to see the automated robotic fulfilment centre in operation, while gaining practical insights into Australian manufacturing, craftsmanship at scale, distribution, product flow, customer experience, repair and product lifecycle management, and operational improvement.

Join us for an exclusive guided tour of the R.M. Williams Salisbury facility and experience first-hand the craftsmanship, heritage and operational excellence behind every boot. From traditional leatherwork and repairs through to apparel production and distribution, this unique tour showcases the people, processes and passion that have made R.M. Williams an Australian icon for over 90 years.

Tour Details:

Arrival: Meet at Reception at 8.45 am for group allocation and housekeeping.

Area timings: Footwear: 60–90 minutes; Apparel, Craft and Repairs: about 60 minutes; Distribution: approximately 60 minutes.

Williams Salisbury facility, where you’ll discover the craftsmanship, heritage and operational excellence behind the making and distribution of Australia’s most famous boots and apparel. Hosted by the R.M. Williams team, this immersive tour provides access to the Footwear Workshop, Apparel operations, Craft & Repairs team and Distribution Centre, offering a unique insight into traditional craftsmanship combined with modern supply chain practices.

		Steven Woodlands - General Manager Air Cargo and Commercial, (company?) Steven is a senior aviation and logistics executive with extensive experience in air cargo, commercial strategy and supply chain development. As General Manager Air Cargo and Commercial, he leads cargo growth initiatives, strategic partnerships and commercial programmes to enhance connectivity and supply chain performance. His expertise spans cargo infrastructure development, international route development, market strategy and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with airlines, freight forwarders, government agencies and industry stakeholders, Steven focuses on improving freight efficiency, expanding market access and supporting innovation across the air cargo sector.
		Graeme Moat - NSW Team Leader for Supply Chain & Logistics, TAFE NSW. Graeme is an experienced supply chain leader with extensive expertise in end-to-end supply chain operations, inventory management, demand planning, logistics and operational optimisation. Known for his pragmatic, solutions-focused approach, he combines data-driven decision-making with strong operational knowledge to deliver business results. Passionate about developing people, Graeme leads through collaboration, trust and empowerment, fostering high-performing teams and a culture of continuous improvement. His approachable leadership style and commitment to mentoring others enable him to successfully navigate change while maintaining a strong focus on people, performance, and customer outcomes.
MODERATOR		Michael Farragher - Head Teacher, Supply Chain & Logistics, TAFE NSW Michael is an award-winning supply chain and logistics professional with over 25 years of senior management experience across Australia and Europe, specialising in FMCG, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations. As Head Teacher of Supply Chain and Logistics at TAFE NSW, Michael leads vocational training across logistics, procurement, transport, freight forwarding and customs broking. He also serves as National Mentoring Program Chair for ASCLA, supporting industry engagement and professional development.
