ABOUT THIS EVENT 

Join the SCLAA to celebrate International Women's Day 2024 and listen to two prominent West Australian female supply chain practitioners speak about their personal experiences as women forging a career in their chosen industry.

At this breakfast event, with ample networking opportunities, the speakers will talk about the challenges that they've encountered and overcome in building their careers, and particularly the importance of a culture of engagement for organisations to fully benefit from female workforce participation.

PRESENTERS

 

Chloe Van Der Heyden – National Operations Manager, IPA

Chloe is a dedicated and results-oriented Operations Manager with a rich background in the labour hire and recruitment industry since 2007. Having worked alongside the Supply Chain & Logistics industry for the entire 17 years Chloe is passionate about ensuring successful opportunities for all within the industry here in WA. Now with lived experience and further education around empowering employees and upskilling managers to better prepare and enjoy the experience of (yours or a colleagues) pregnancy at work, maternity leave and returning to work successfully. 

Lindsey Gallacher – Head of Planning and Logistics, Sandvik

Lindsey started her career as a British Army Officer, deploying her soldiers and equipment around the world. Upon leaving the Army she joined Siemens Energy as a junior Project Manager, managing the long-term maintenance of two gas power plants. She came to Australia as part of the Logistics Team on Chevron’s Gorgon project. Following the project completion, she was brought into Deloitte’s Supply Chain and Procurement Team where she consulted predominantly across Mining and Oil & Gas. Lindsey is now Head of Planning and Logistics in Sandvik. Lindsey has worked in The Middle East, Europe, South East Asia and did stint in The Falkland Islands and Ascension Islands. The common theme throughout her career is planning, Supply Chain & Logistics, continuous improvement and importantly, lifelong learning.
